The Tandym Group is Hiring a Loans Analyst Near Old Greenwich, CT
An investment advisor located in Connecticut is actively seeking a team-oriented professional to join their staff as their new Loans Analyst. In this role, the Loans Analyst will be responsible for reconciling and processing monthly whole loan servicer remittance tapes.
Responsibilities
The Loans Analyst will:
- Assist with team response to daily flow of requests and inquiries from portfolio management, loan sellers, and loan servicers
- Support data integrity related to quantitative and qualitative loan characteristics
- Assist in day-to-day repo financing and help plan strategic approach
- Conduct initial analysis on trading activity to confirm accuracy and appropriateness
- Assist in relationship management and onboarding for loan servicers, repo counterparties, and trustee/calculation agents
- Assist in development of the firm’s proprietary whole loan portfolio management system
- Assist in profit/loss calculations for whole loan products
- Assist in tax amortization calculations for whole loan products
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of experience
- Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
